Undertaking a course of counselling takes bravery but with it comes the prospect of growth and restoration in the weeks and months ahead.
Person-centred counselling seeks to help you rediscover the momentum within you to fulfil your potential, enabling you to journey deeper towards the real you.
As well as developing your self-awareness, our sessions will help you to hear your own voice, building your confidence in your own ability to self-determine and move forward.
Our initial sessions will focus on forging a relationship where you feel safe and accepted - where you can explore the issues and feelings that you choose to bring each week in a judgment-free space.
You can also expect that, as our relationship deepens, we will begin to unearth and explore some of the beliefs that might be holding you back from realising your own potential.
The therapeutic process can take as long as you need and may feel uncomfortable in the early days.
Whilst some clients find that a limited number of sessions are enough to stimulate the change they seek, others find therapy over a longer timeframe is more helpful - every client has different needs.
We will take time out regularly to review whether counselling is meeting your needs and expectations and when ending feels appropriate for you.

Where do we meet?
• I currently work from rooms at Network Counselling, a Bristol-based non-profit organisation.
Their address is: Network Counselling, Elm Park, Filton, Bristol BS34 7PS.
• Network have 8 comfortable and peaceful counselling rooms, as well as a cosy waiting room.
• Their premises are fully accessible, with ground-floor rooms, a ramp, and a power-assisted front door.
• There is ample parking available nearby, along with cycle racks for those who prefer to cycle.
Their offices are easily accessible from Gloucester Road in Filton and are served by the 74 and 75 bus routes.
